Sit in on a riveting session with author, storyteller, and teaching artist, Bobby Norfolk, as he shares the importance and meaning of the Gateway to the West. His story will weave in how settlers walked 2,000 miles, encountering nature and Native Americans, the significance of the Mississippi River, Pierre Laclede and the founding of St. Louis by French settlers in 1764, York, the slave who traveled with Lewis and Clark, and so many more milestones in St. Louis's rich history.
